Hangover Soup with Dried Pollack KIT
is perfect to help you to wake up after drinking
1. Put sliced dried pollack in a bowl. Pour in 2 cups of cold water. Lightly rinse pollack and squeeze the water out.
2. In a large pot, add perilla oil and slices of dried pollack. Stir fry for 2 minutes on high heat.
3. Add 1 cup of water. Cover and boil for 2 minutes on high heat.
4. Add 1 more cup of water and simmer for 3 minutes on high heat. Repeat until all 4 cups of water have been added (4 times).
5. Reduce to low heat and boil for 2 more minutes.
6. Season with salt accordingly to your preference. Add the dried scallions and boil for 1 more minute.
7. Turn off heat and place it in a bowl of soup. Set the table with rice and enjoy!
1. You can enjoy the abundant flavor if you add bean sprouts, sliced green chili pepper, red pepper and/or beaten eggs.
2. You can replace rice with rice noodles in the soup.

Hwangtae (Yellow Dried Pollack) refers to pollack that dries in the cold of midwinter. Repeatedly melted and frozen, the inside turns yellow and swells up becoming rich in taste and nutrition. In recent years, pollack hasn't been caught in Korea so subsequently, we have used pollack caught around the Russian sea. Still, Hwangtae is a unique Korean food with the characteristics of winter weater in Korea. WOULD U COOK Hwangtae Haejangguk (hangover soup with yellow dried pollack) is made from premium Hwangtae made in Yongdae-ri, Gangwon-do, the production district of Hwangtae.

Bay salt is a premium salt developed by Bong-hoon Son that is made and dried in Bigeumdo Island located in Sinan. It is then filtered by a medium-sized bay salt and mixed with Sinan-grown herb (glasswort) powder. You can enjoy the salty taste more smoothly, by using it for various kinds of meat dishes, clear fish soups, and stir-fried dishes.
